STOP BREXIT

BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE

Salisbury Liberal Democrats are delighted to invite all members to attend the Annual General Meeting.

Postponed until January 2020

Due to the Snap General Election, we have taken the decision to postpone our AGM until January. Further details will be communicated shortly.

Our AGM gives us the chance to hear reports from the Executive Committee that we chose last year, learn about what’s been happening on the Wiltshire unitary and Salisbury City councils and choose an Executive Committee for 2020.

All the Offices of the Local Party are open for election. Those who have filled positions this year will willingly support any new incumbent; we sincerely hope that others will put their names forward to help carry the Party forward. In addition to the Officers we need six executive members to play an essential part in plotting the direction of the Local Party.

Please seriously consider putting your name forward to fill one of these places. We particularly need increased representation from younger members, women and minority groups, all of whom are under represented on the current Executive Committee.

Agenda

  1. Apologies.
  2. Minutes of previous Annual General Meeting held 19th November 2018.
  3. Reports from: Executive committee, Members who attended Conference, Salisbury City and Wiltshire Councils representatives. With guest speaker Ian Thorn, leader of the Wiltshire Council LibDem Group.
  4. Election of Officers, Executive Committee Members and Honorary President for 2020.
  5. Financial Statement for 2018.
  6. Appointment of Independent Examiner for the 2019 Local Party Accounts.
  7. 100 Club report.
